Afrofuturism Panel Discussion
KODA and Ethan Cohen Gallery present the AFROFUTURISM panel discussion with artists Renée Cox, Nanette Carter, Algernon Miller, and Tyrone Mitchel. The panel discussion will take place on Thursday, July 10 at 6pm and will be moderated by writer Seph Rodney. This event is organized to celebrate the opening of Renée Cox’s first public art commission Soul Culture Statue (2025), organized by KODA on Governors Island, funded in part by the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, and on the occasion of closing of the AFROFUTURISM exhibition organized by Ethan Cohen Gallery.
